oh i forgot this was a thread well anyway stop bothering with idk wat cuz this is simple as shit new members leave cuz no one likes being forced to take a trial and register on forums, i swear ive been through that like 10 times when joining clans. ITS THE ONLY REASON I HATE JOINING A NEW CLAN... I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY HATE BEING TRIALED OR MAKING AN APPLICATION THAT WILL 100% BE ACCEPTED

The "trial" that's being given to guests in order to join the clan do not necessarily have to be seen as trials. I see them more as floors you do with them to see how they do and a kind of welcome gesture towards the clan.
Oh, and on a sidenote, has anyone counted the amount of warning's Ed's been given? Jw.

Julian is right trial is twofold
welcoming new ppl to 3bo showing them what we are all about , it should be friendly welcome
also checks their dg ability (not that I would ever deny someone on ability unless they were really terrible and showed no incentive to get better) and attitude. "Attitude being more important than dg ability in this case.

Trials are good thing for the clan.We wanted to have trials for long time. Now that we have so many active and good admins we finally can make the system work.It will only include the new members to 3bo more and people get feed back so they can improve.
No julian I lost count.

"Most people in 3bo do not Dungeoneer actively. And, the ones that do tend to be exclusive- whether intentionally or not" I want put to shame the quotes 3bo do not dungeoneer. In past times I been tracking the dg experience so I had some facts and numbers as a reference. So through observations and tracker I know this is not the case. But ofc dg times has changed but all in all I think 3bo should be proud that we been able to survive as a dg clan in total and never been changed into floor selling etc. I'm also very proud of our ranks doing all the trials/helping new people into 3bo ,and all the commitment that's around. I see often when people join us, they seem to leave soon because we dont dung that often, just rarely that people host in the fc, i think we should do dung events ( with someone in the world with avatar) on like saterdays for a few hours or so. We might aswell make a youtube channel with fast floors? And tell people that we wont just call them idiots when they're not the best, that we are willing to help. Btw g2g now cya =[)

My idea for new recruits is making the dung improvement program compulsory for all new recruits to reach the 2 stripe rank.
In their trial floors to join the cc, the trialer should assess their abilities and discuss with the recruit 3 reasonable and appropriate goals (NON TIME BASED) to improve on over a 1-2 week period while supervised by multiple admin+ to see they improve on these areas. A sort of initiation phase.
During this period of 1-2 weeks the recruit must actively host/join floors with the cc. Because all 1 stripe ranks will be in this initiation phase, admins and other competent dgers in the clan will know and are expected to give them feedback and advice, while being monitored for improvement.
A thread should be made for each recruit in this program where the 3 goals are stated and admins can leave notes about what they did well/didnt do well as they dg with the recruit throughout the period.
Once at the end of the trial period, admins will discuss the progress of the recruit and whether he has improved or shown the right attitude to an extent where he can be fully accepted into the clan and promoted to 2 stripe. Failing this, a repeat of the initiation phase can be administered, or if a bad attitude is shown as well as little to no improvement, maybe a kick from the clan (rare case).
This program should increase clan dunging activity and allow the recruit to get to know people and feel part of the community by actively hosting/joining floors, and also help people see value in joining 3bo to improve their dging and fully making use of the dg knowledge our capable admins posses.
Just my idea to tackle some of the issues ive read above.
