Structure:
• To start off: 5:5 containing 1 student and 2 normal dungers who will complete the floor while being followed and analysed by 2 teachers.
• As the learner progresses, the teachers can participate like a normal dger in a 5:5 large in a more normal paced floor so they can try to organise a full team at a faster pace
(Note: the normal dungers will heavily rely on the instruction of the student and will NOT gate things or take a path without being told)
• For the more advanced learners, a 5:5 large done as a duo. the learner will key the floor while duoing with another teacher. A second teacher will ghost the learner and give advice during the floor, or take it down on a notepad and relayed to the learner after the floor is finished (up to the learner whether being given advice during the floor throws them off a bit)
Method:
The 2 teachers will ‘ghost’ during the floor which means follow the learner around so they know the situation fully, but not contribute to the floor in any way (except maybe helping kill a gd because this has no relevance to the intentions of this program). The student will be heavily mentored by teachers who will attentively follow the learners to know at the first moment when/if moves need to be made. Students and normal dungers should be ready to COMPLETELY stop what they are doing while a teacher is giving advice so they can finish what they are saying, the information can be thought about and understood by the learners before continuing the floor (the teacher should call out stop before starting to give feedback). The student will fully organise the floor and command the normal dungers in what to gate, who to take which path, when to break etc.
After getting used to these slower paced, more basic floors and showing a proficient knowledge of team management, you can move on to the regular 5:5 floors where the same principles stated above will apply.
Purpose:
This program aims to teach people the best ways to utilize your teams gates as well as organising, assigning and remembering gates for other members of your team. This helps to make sure the whole map is covered and to know who is free gate so you can send them to do paths, so double gating is avoided (or in a case where multiple people are free gate for a single door there is no confusion as to who will break/needs to break and so that at least one person keeps the gate).
This program has a higher degree of difficulty than the Efficient Pathing Program. Completion of this program to a fairly high standard is compulsory for people who wish to join the clan who have a dung level under 105. Also, successful completion of this program to a very high standard will soon be a requirement to achieve Keyer and Maven ranks in 3bo, they are also great practice for the trial as the areas covered are extremely relevant to the criteria of these ranks.
Even if you’re not intending to apply for the ranks mentioned above, don’t be afraid to volunteer to be in this program, it is extremely beneficial to learn these things, or if you already have a decent knowledge of floor management and just want to check you’re doing everything correctly. I recommend this program to anyone.
